NEW PRODUCTS AND SYSTEMS FOR 2007

Quicktron

The Quicktron is intended to remove bubbles using a centrifugal design that allows the fluid to flow tangentially into a tapered tube via an inlet port where the fluid is forced by the pressure against the inner surface of the tube, creating an air passage along the central axis where the air bubbles are trapped. Since the air passage’s pressure is much lower, backpressure is applied to the downstream side of the tapered tube decelerating the downstream pressure as the fluid moves to the outlet and ejecting the accumulated bubbles through a vent port.

The Quicktron has been proven to effectively remove entrained air from hydraulic fluids. It is an excellent addition to our product line, in most instances working along with our customized oil purification systems where smaller reservoirs are ideal. The advantages range from improving oil quality to, prevention of component cavitation, to simply user friendly design and implementation of smaller more lightweight reservoirs.

SS-Series

SS102, SS103 and SS104 housing

The new SS–Series combines high flow systems in a compact format. The SS100-Series advantages:

  • Compact and built of a high flow filter housing.
  • Steel instead of stainless steel makes them stronger.
  • SS104-H80: A compact system that can handle flow rates up to 15 L/m.
  • Cheaper prices!
  • Can be used for various markets, for instance MARINE applications. In this application all filter systems have to be made of steel since aluminum and stainless steel are forbidden.
  • With the SS-housings it is easy to build low pressure systems (TR-series), systems for high pressure applications (BU-series) or complete filter rigs in all sizes (OSCA-series).

Introducing H80 sized Elements

The new 80mm sized element is essentially the same as the 100-Series element, but only at 80mm high as opposed to 114mm high. These elements are for two new housings:

  • SS104 (100 sized housing made of steel with 4 elements) for 100-series elements
  • SS306 (300 sized housing made of steel with 6 elements) for 300-series elements

Just like with our regular H114 elements, H80 elements come in different micron ratings:

100 Series
  • 2µm: M100-H80
  • 3µm: E100-H80
  • 5µm: X100-H80
300 series:
  • 2µm: M300-H80
  • 3µm: E300-H80
  • 5µm: X300-H80

Suction Filters

New LL-Housings: Suction filter housings in all sizes and for all flow rates

When building high flow systems, the need for appropriate suction filters is important. Our SE-Series units have the designated mesh strainer in the suction line, and our OSCA units have a designated washable prefilter.

New is the LL-housing for high flow systems with flow rates of up to 100 lit/min, depending on the fluid type and viscosity. It is important that for high viscosity oil flow rates be adjusted accordingly.

  • TR-15807: LL housing
  • TR-21000: 100µm basket

Centrifuges

New Centrifuges: TRS Series

Three years ago Triple R Japan bought Niigata’s division called G-Force. Together they built a new range of centrifuges combining high centrifugal efficiency in a simple but robust model.

Triple R's vision was to expand on services and solutions for improved Total Oil Management. Applications that were not accessible previously became potential projects for Triple R. Examples are the “Energy” market which uses large generator sets, the "Glass" industry for grinding and polishing, the "Metal Working Industry" for coolants, the "Automotive Industry" for stamping fluids and final assembly production lines.

Centrifuge Highlights:

  • The Triple R Centrifuges have the strong advantage of being extremely maintenance friendly.
  • The Centrifuges are based on a conic bowl principle that allows the use of a scraper for removing centrifuged residue.
  • The Centrifuges are meant for removing solids and sludge from various liquids, but it is NOT meant for removing or separating WATER from other liquids.
  • Flow rates vary from 15 L/min up to 200 L/min.

The Centrifuges come in two model variations:

  • The smaller MANUAL centrifuges, without a scraper built-in.
  • The bigger AUTOMATIC centrifuges, with a built-in scraper.

New OSCA-series

We continually receive enquiries for filter rigs with high flow capacity or the ability to filter large volumes of oil. In addition, more companies enquire about renting these units as part of their ISO 14000 goals and improving their oil management.

With the new SS-housings available, an OSCA-Series system can be built to remain compact while maintaining high flow capacity.

Here is a list of new customized(CS) OSCA-Series:

  • CS-102-1R : 6 L/min
  • CS-103-1R : 9 L/min
  • CS-102-2R : 12 L/min
  • CS-103-2R : 18 L/min
  • CS-103-3R : 30 L/min
  • CS-104-3R : 40 to 50 L/min
  • CS-SS305-2R : 60 - 90 L/m.
  • CS-SS306-2R : ~ 100 L/min

These rates are estimates since flow rates will have to be adjusted according to the oil viscosity and the filter element in use. All of these units have a metal washable suction filter built in. Other options like an hour counter can be added on request.

OSCA-series setup

The picture shows a CS-103-H114-2R/CS-104-H80-2R. 2R means with 2 housings. The 1R and 3R systems will use a similar frame, but with 1 or with 3 housings.

Every unit is fitted with the 100 micron washable metal suction filter. The control panel comes with 2 integrated pressure gauges and a switch box.

Swivel wheels, hour counters, water detection devices, extra pre-filters and other features can be added on request.

Magnet Separators

Magnets?

It sounds like some old technique but in many cases magnets can be a perfect removal tool.

For example in machine manufacturing, after assembling a hydraulic system, there is always metal residue inside the system and the oil reservoir. Using magnets can help eliminate these large metal parts and save on consumable filters.

Every application with a typical heavy load of metal particles is a potential application. Since there can be a variety of applications, Triple R magnets are designed in a modular fashion so that several magnets can be attached together to increase their magnetic force and increase their removal efficiency and capacity.

Reduce Reuse Recycle

Triple R believes that it is a vital duty for everyone in this world to maintain this environment for the next generation by preserving it in any way that they can.

Thus, this belief is taken into account in every direction of our business as a filtration and separation system manufacturer.

We continually strive to be a student of resource-saving issues, and all of our members engage in Triple R’s motto: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Our action plans:

  • To create an Environmental Management System to be part of global environmental preservation and to making ecological progress.
  • We identify the effects of our business on the environment, and we create a process not only to fix the situation and prevent pollution, but also to ensure the continuity of these actions.
  • We comply with environmental laws, regulations, and agreements very strictly.

The main environmental objectives in our business are:

  • Reduce the usage of resources and the amount of industrial waste by developing and upgrading our filtration and separation systems.
  • Reduce the environmental load originated from our systems.
  • Upgrade the “Resource Recycling” technologies in our filtration and separation systems, and expand our sales, and distribution world-wide.
