The Quicktron is intended to remove bubbles using a centrifugal design that allows the fluid to flow tangentially into a tapered tube via an inlet port where the fluid is forced by the pressure against the inner surface of the tube, creating an air passage along the central axis where the air bubbles are trapped. Since the air passage’s pressure is much lower, backpressure is applied to the downstream side of the tapered tube decelerating the downstream pressure as the fluid moves to the outlet and ejecting the accumulated bubbles through a vent port.
The Quicktron has been proven to effectively remove entrained air from hydraulic fluids. It is an excellent addition to our product line, in most instances working along with our customized oil purification systems where smaller reservoirs are ideal. The advantages range from improving oil quality to, prevention of component cavitation, to simply user friendly design and implementation of smaller more lightweight reservoirs.
